If you choose the correct choices, Leya will be happier and remove your party collar, 0. Keep your collar on at first so you can finish the dog quest, then after you're done with the fort you can go back to the arena and get the collar off, then go back and the dogs will attack you and you can kill them for sweet sweet EXP.

Leaving Fort Joy in Divinity: Original Sin 2

Fort Joy is the first major hub area you’ll visit in Divinity: Original Sin 2. Once you get there, your objective is simple: find a way to escape without getting killed by all the Magisters loitering around. There are quite a few ways to get out of there, but some of them can be a little tough if you’re just getting started.

Original

First off, you’re going to want to recruit some party members. If you rescued your fellow Source-muted shipmates in the prologue, this shouldn’t be too tough. The Fire Prince can be found on the shores, and Ifan is near the gate of Fort Joy. Continue through the area, and you’ll find Sebille on the beach as she stalks the Dreamer, and Lohse can be found inside a shrine.

Now, the easiest way to escape Fort Joy is by obtaining the Teleportation gloves by killing the crocodiles in the south. The crocs themselves are pretty tough, but if you use the environment to your advantage, it won’t be too much of a problem. Before fighting the crocs, you’ll want to hit the oil barrel, lure them over, and have the Fire Prince use his breath attack to set them on fire. Make sure to move the rest of your party out of the way before doing this. Ifan and Sebille can snipe them from afar, while the Fire Prince can get closer.

After defeating them, you can grab the gloves off one of the corpses, then go to the eastern cliff outside Fort Joy, and teleport your party out.

Alternatively, you can also open the hatch near Griff and head to the underground area, where you’ll be challenged to a fight by the fanatics there. This is a pretty tough fight for the early game, and we don’t recommend going this route. But if you do manage to beat it, you’ll get your Source necklace removed. After that, get yourself imprisoned by talking to the Magisters, and use a lockpick to get out of jail. Have your companions warp to you via the fast travel point, and then make your way out from there.

Completing the Burning Pigs Quest in Divinity: Original Sin 2

Source Collar Removal

After escaping Fort Joy in Divinity: Original Sin 2, you’ll make your way through the Hollow Marshes to find the Seekers camp. Along the northeastern part of the map, you’ll also run into a small group of burning pigs setting off explosions by running into explosive barrels. Your characters will make a comment about them, and you’ll receive the Burning Pigs quest log in your journal.

To complete this quest, one of your characters needs to cast Bless on any of the pigs. Do take note that you need Source to cast the spell, so we recommend progressing through the story and rescuing Gareth so you can get Leya to remove the Source collars first. After casting Bless, you’ll meet up with a guardian named Scapor, and you can either talk your way out of the confrontation or fight. Continue east through the Hollow Marshes, and you’ll be ambushed by a very powerful Voidling and a bunch of Undead. This fight is extremely challenging, so be sure to quick save before progressing, and don’t be afraid to go level up some more before attempting it.

Once you get through the ambush, look for a pig named Feder. You’ll need the Pet Pal talent to talk to it. Simply tell the pig to head to the Sanctuary of Amadia and step into the healing pool, and you’ll be done with the Burning Pigs quest.
